We were engaged to bring an old run down river side home back to life.
The house had good bones but had been neglected for many years and required a great deal of restoration work to be carried out.
We took it back down to a bare shell, straightened the timber floor that had partially collapsed from the undermining of the local wombats, and transformed the old girl into an amazing space.
We saw its potential even further that the architects had designed and requested that the roof and ceiling line be enhanced by raising the flat ceiling line to incorporate exposed whitewashed timber beams with a vaulted ceiling, this design change was an amazing transformation that was a game changer for the large open space.
We kept the original old charm of the home with matching the existing cladding and installing new timber windows, while enhancing its appeal with modern finishes and eye catching details.
